Who is the creator at Celestial Scoop?
Where are you located?
What do you make?
I manufacture raw, vegan superfood ice cream.
Celestial Scoop is a non-dairy, vegan, gluten-free, frozen dessert that is packed full of superfoods and is geared toward your body’s health and spiritual wellbeing. Our “ice cream” is coconut based enabling people with dairy intolerance to enjoy the pleasure of frozen desserts without the tummy ache after. The addition of superfoods into Celestial Scoop’s proprietary recipes revitalizes the body’s systems leaving you with a healthy sense of wellbeing after eating it.
Our recipes have been formulated with a focus on nutritional value allowing you to enjoy this decadent treat any time of day or night. The ingredients are of the highest vibration and are processed with the utmost loving intention.
How long have you been in business?
What motivated you to start?
I wanted to create an out-of-this-world treat that consumers could feel good about eating!
Community Futures played a huge role in helping me start Celestial Scoop. I owe a lot to them.
What are some of your greatest joys?
My greatest joy is giving people free ice cream at in-store demos. That’s why I’m so looking forward to the demo at the Kootenay Co-op this week! 3-6 pm Friday Feb. 2
What are some of your greatest challenges?
Managing the growth of the company… If visitors are interested in helping me with that growth, they can contribute out via my GoFundMe campaign!
What is your vision for your company?
Our unique healthy recipes adhere to our vision of bringing delicious nourishment to the people and reflect how we feel about real food…
Also, I would like to see Celestial Scoop expand beyond the Kootenays across BC and Alberta. Onwards and upwards!
If you could deliver a message directly to Co-op members/customers, what would it be?
Well, I’ll say it in person to anyone who makes it out for the demo (FREE ICE CREAM!) from 3-6pm tomorrow, Friday, February 2nd. But to those who I don’t meet face-to-face… Thank you!
