- 2 tilapia filets (fresh or frozen)
- 4 tsp lemon juice, fresh or bottled
- 4 tsp dry white wine
- 2 tsp all purpose seasoning
- Fresh parsley, roughly chopped
preheat broiler to 400 degrees.
Place a wire rack inside a baking pan. Lay the tilapia filets on the rack and on each pour 1 tsp of lemon juice, 1 tsp of wine, and 1/2 tsp of the seasoning mix. Measurements are approximate – if you use a little more of each ingredient that’s ok too. Flip filets over and repeat.
Broil in the middle of the oven for 4-6 minutes. When the fish begins to turn white around the edges but is still pink in the middle, it’s ready to flip. Continue to grill until the fish is white all the way through but not dried up – about 4-6 minutes.
If you are cooking filets that are different sizes, smaller ones would need to come out earlier and larger ones would take a minute or two longer – same goes for if filets are still slightly frozen a few minutes longer for each side may be needed. Cooking times also depend on your broiler, so keep an eye on them.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley to serve. Add a side of wild rice or quinoa salad and steamed greens for a delicious healthy meal. Goes well with a glass of crisp white wine too.
