Bitter: The Lost Flavour
(Everyday Herbalism with Monica Juhas)

Did you know that bitter foods play a crucial role in human health?
So why has this complex flavour been abandoned in our modern diets?

Join us for a conversation exploring our human interaction with the bitter flavour, from evolutionary, scientific, emotional and spiritual perspectives.

In this class, you will:
  • gain a deeper understanding of how bitter foods support digestion, vitality and more
  • learn common, easy-to-identify bitter plants which you can harvest locally
  • take home surprisingly simple and delicious recipes you can incorporate into your life to enjoy more of the bitter flavour
  • try samples of some of Monica’s favourite everyday recipes

If you like to eat food and be healthy, this workshop is for you!
