Nelson author Karie Garnier will share his amazing journey of personal discovery which led to his latest book The Water Cure and his twofold mission: to disseminate this healing wisdom globally; and ensure protection of our most precious resource.
Karie is an award-winning filmmaker, a UNESCO-endorsed author, past columnist for The Vancouver Sun, a fine artist, and founder of three humanitarian organizations.
Karie has worked with Indigenous and First Nations healers for 35 years, and his new book honours the wisdom of the elders he’s had the privilege to know and work with.
Karie’s quest for health and enlightenment also led him to meetings with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Dr. Buckminster Fuller, Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, Dr. Masaru Emoto, and the Cherokee medicine man Rolling Thunder who mentored Karie for 15 years.
At his book launch, Karie will read from The Water Cure and speak of lessons learned from his mentors, including the time-honoured and incredibly simple methods of “hydrating our bodies wisely” so we can activate our inner healing abilities and heal ourselves naturally.
